I'm sure this has been discussed, but darned if I can find it.

The Starlock tool is relatively cheap, but the blades are stupid money.

The old style tool is stupid money, but blades cheap.

1- is there a place to buy old style tool "new" that's reasonable?
2- Is there a place to buy Starlock blades that's reasonable?
3- Is there a good place to get the tool rebuilt?

I have 6 old style Fein's with about 4 to 5 hundred various blades, but the tools are wearing out and I don't have a reasonable place to get them rebuilt around here that I know of. Thanks in advance-

Most any blades now fit. I've got Princess Auto ones, I'm sure Harbor Fright would fit. They are cheap enough that if the HSS is soft you can change out.

dont know if it will fit yours but I bought a couple of adapters
