Anyone know if the Feit shop lights at Costco have been discontinued?

Can’t find them on their website and both of my Costco’s don’t have them anymore.

Seems like the first step was to not restock the stores. They were still available on the website for drop ship. I bought several extra thinking it might be "the end".

I could not tell you if they are dropping this in favor of something else more profitable to put in their store-spacce or there's a Gen2 light coming out...

Haven't seen them in the stores in quite a while. I bought 10 of them I think a couple of years ago when they were on sale for $20 & I think they were a hell of a good buy.

For reference, there’s no such thing as “more profitable” at Costco. They take a standard, small (13-15%) margin on just about everything. Though I suppose that “better selling” would be more profitable.

They circle through most products. They had these in most us locations in November and December. My source doesn't know when they are coming back.

I have a couple used for extra light over a bench or machine where you turn it on when needed. They work great.
I used 4 for quick/temp lighting in an area that is going to get reconfigured and permanent lighting installed. They have been in use during business hours so 60 hours per week for just over 2 years. With the decline in light output and color balance, it is clear they will be ready for the trash in another two years. About the same lifespan as good T-12 bulbs.

Not that it matters but those are the old style fixtures ^^^^^^ and not what Costco has been selling for the last two years.

I was on the road yesterday and stopped at the Folsom (CA) Costco and they did not have any of the shops lights on display or on the shelf. Employee told me he did not know if they are going to get any more. :dunno: :(

Is this a new product or a rerelease of a previous product. Says they can be surface mounted which is a plus for some folks. ,

Anyone have these in use? Thoughts?

I'm pretty sure those were offered before. I have the early versions which didn't have a pull chain. I have a bunch of them & I think they are a great light & a great buy.

With linkable lights that have pull chains can any light be on or off with its respective pull chain or is everything down hill from the off light via pull chain off as well?

The ones I have do have a pull chain. Each light independent via the chain switch. In other words - 4 linked together, any one along the line can be off and it does not effect the others.

Thanks. Convenient to have the ability to choose what’s on or off.
