Just a shout out to those recommending the Felco C7. Thank you!
I replaced the cables on my HightLift Hanger door (under warranty). They were about 28 years old and had some fraying. Install went well with ~3' extra length for each of the four cables. Ordered the Felco C7 from Pruners Warehouse as they were cheapest place I found on the web and got free shipping. Took about 30 mins to cut the excess including moving the ladder. My 70+ yr. old hands are as strong as they were when I was 30-50 years younger. Took two bites to cut the 5/16" steel cables.
