There are no markings whatsoever. It weighs 1 lb. x 5" long. I'm looking for info of any and all kinds if you please.

I found the Atha Catalog as you said. That was pretty comprehensive and educational...thank you.Farriers hammer, for horse shoes.
I found one in an auction lot recently, and looked it up in the Atha catalog at the International Tool Library.
Electricians hammers have an extra long neck, allowing hammering into deep junction boxes & have straight claw for ripping. I’ve seen very few in recent years, since we all use battery drills & screws now to mount boxes.Almost looks like an Electrician's Hammer. Maybe a horseshoe hammer?
