The voice of reason....
Although I think a lot of people ended up with beaucoup screwdrivers due to things like Amazon uber-sales. I can't say that I've ever spent more than about 20-25 bucks for a set, and I ended up with sets from all the big deal European companies. My magpie brain can't pass up an 80% off sale.
If I had it to do all over again, I think I'd just buy a set of those Williams screwdrivers for general dirty work and paint can opening, and a set of PB Swiss for sketchier situations since they really do appear to make super good tips.
everyone has the brand they prefer for whatever reasons, but as with any product that is mass produced, you end up getting a bad one once in a while that doesn't hold up very well because something happened during production, or it got past their QC when the rest of the batch got scrapped.
personally. i go with wera because i have used and abused chiseldrivers in ways people wouldn't believe, never snapped a tip, never damaged a tip from using as a chisel (unless using something bigger than a 3 lb hammer on stainless or similar hardness metal which is a given). even using a phillips as a makeshift center-punch and/or using either for pushing shafts out instead of walking a half mile back to the tool box to get a punch long and thin enough.
nothing wrong with wiha, felo, wera, klein, williams, snap-on. find what you like, and use it a lot, and expect to get a bad one once in a while (i got a bad wera already once, in my electrical set, the tip got marred and deformed after 2 screws, didnt buy it from wera and they offered to replace it immediately, but i had already sent it for an exchange, problem solved).
