I want to get a nice set of chiseldrivers, narrowed it down between a few sets and want some input.

Wera Series 900

Felo 550

any input comparing the two would be helpful, thanks.

I think the only real difference between those two sets is which handle you prefer. There's not much difference between the blades between those two brands. In fact, if you were to cover the handles, a person probably couldn't tell them apart. Both sets will serve you well. I have both Felos and the Wera Chiseldriver. I don't care for the squishy soft areas on the Felo handle but, that's just me. I use my Weras daily at work without any issues. You may want to pick up a #2 phillips of each type and test it out to make your final decision. Of course, I'd take the easy way out and get both sets for a more extensive test.

The Wera Chiseldrivers have the cap that runs all the way through the handle to the screwdriver bit itself......my question is does the Felo have this added pertection because if it is just a cap and nothing else then that handle will shatter very fast

Its straight through for Felo also. I'm a wera nut and always recommend them, but.... Everything I have from them(I think so anyways)is from Germany. I heard all new production is from Czech Rep. Kinda scary...

I have the wera series 900 as well as the old plastic handle Felos and rebadged Felo Ergonics (in the middle, rebadged to "Wurth" ) and i prefer the Felo shape. They have a "decagon" shape while the weras are round and the felos are not so "curvy". I also like that they`re completely covered with a soft grip. I choosed to buy a complete set of weras back then because of the price but nowadays i think i would get a set of the Felo series 550 instead.
