was thinking about using some of the waffled type no-skid stuff you put under rugs - any issues? - like some chemical that would affect the finish? - thanks, ED
As long as you don't care which Nascar team is on it, fender protectors are too cheap buy vs make.

As far as fender covers are concerned, one of the first things to do is to remove your belt so the buckle does not scratch the finish.
The other benefit of removing your belt is that it allows a little crack to show.
And EVERYBODY knows that all good plumbers and mechanics show a little crack on the job.




I never worry about fender covers or scratching anything up wearing my bibbies!
