Has anyone been following the 2018 FESTOOL reconditioned tool sale, if so what do you think of the new format??. Fot those not familiar FESTOOL has in the past every couple years offered reconitioned tools they had a list on their festoolrecon site you could buy them if im not mistaken it used to go through your local FESTOOL dealer. This year they have choosen to list one item at a time as in a particular sander , saw , dust collector ,ect there is no info as to how many they have of that item just disc, price and buy it now . There is no info about any other items so you have to wait for an email if your sighned up when the item sells out the next item will be offered. The thing is they just randomly list items at no particular time sometimes 8 am maybe not till 11 am or later for the first item some items have sold out in minutes and a new item listed minutes later or maybe in a coule hours or maybe not till the next day .Its been going on for 2 weeks I have followed it becase I have been wanting a dust collector and was able to get a ct26e finally yesturday at 25% off and free ship that is better than you can get used for on ebay and the only time you can get discounted Festool items. Not sure if I like or dislike the new method they are using but it does seem intersting and keeps your attention it would be nice to know what other models they will be offering ahead of time .
