dont know for sure but I'd imagine theyre pretty close. i tried looking the 936 up on SO's parts catalogue to see if they had the dimensions but they dont even list a FHB936A. I'm pretty sure I've seen one at some point though :headscrat

You're missing one letter in your 936. It's supposed to be FHBF936A just like your FHBF80.

oops...typo. looking again, I don't see a listing for any of the older bent handle ratchets in the part catalogue. Guessing it was because they use the same parts as the straight models.

I can get a great deal on a brand new FHBF936A for my dad, and am just trying to figure out if I can just put the Dual 80 guts in it.

That's not gonna happen because the physical dimensions of the 936 head are different from the 80 head.

I don't know. I can get this FHBF936A for 40.00, brand new never used. It's still a hell of a deal. I can see the benefit of the Dual 80 when doing Subaru spark plugs, but that is as a former Subaru tech who did them multiple times a day, where as for my father who will do it, every 30K miles, the price alone is probably worth the extra degrees of throw needed with the 36 tooth.
