You will probably wind up with a 1GB connection so 62.5 will be fine. Find out what equipment you will connect and see what kind of connectors are used then order a pre-terminated cable to match. Be careful when pulling and avoid as much tension on the cable as you can. Many times they can be ordered with a pulling sock. If its going in the ground make sure its rated for that use and temperature range.

Check out FIS - Fiber Instrument Sales.
I think you will be fine with multimode 62.5 for home use. Obviously you need the right connections in your switches - most everything uses LC these days.

Distribution Style or Breakout Style

This is nothing immediate. Just want to plan accordingly on which to pull - terms can happen down the road

If I was building for future Id be putting in pipe and pullstrings. That being said if I just had to pull the fiber in now I'd pull 62.5um multi mode zipcord with ST or LC connectors on the end. If it is direct buried then you're going to want something more rugged. At work we use FreeDM cable but for the house I just put everything in pipe and use pre terminated cables as the tools to terminate it and terminations are expensive.

Here is a chart that explains the differences in the cable types

I'm running fiber from my house to the detached shop. I need two networks, regular network and security cameras. I'm putting in 2" conduit since I did not want to direct bury and wanted room for "the future". I need a 250' cable, 180' will be underground. Talking with the vendor, I'm going to use Indoor/Outdoor, not direct bury since it will be in conduit and deep enough to not suffer through hard freezes in my area. That's the detail around my install.

I decided to use 6 strand 50/125 OM3. That gives me the 4 strands that I need for two networks and a spare pair. At 250' I can support up to 10 Gb and higher than that if I pull more strands through that giant conduit later. The price difference between a 62.5 and a 50 OM3 indoor/outdoor cable was about $35. The cable price is $342.50, which includes a preinstalled pull sock.

In contrast to that, when I ran fiber from my basement to my attached garage, I bought a 100' 50/125 "patch" cable off of ebay for $20 and used that.

Hopefully my rambling isn't confusing, I thought it might help as my situation is somewhat similar to yours.
