Just spoke with a buddy who drywalls, and noticed a fibre material use on his last couple jobs...
He said that it gets stapled to the trusses and studs just before the vapour barrier, once on you can spray in insulation and it won't puff out/down... allowing you to do drywall at a later date. I asked him if the material was used on 24" o.c. but he forgot to take notice.

I did a google search, but found nothing... I remember doing some research on the "Money wall"... but not sure if that is the same material used here.

Any ideas?:headscrat

Sounds like bib insulation. Just had it done on my new house. Bib is blown in blanket. They stick the hose through the fabric and fill the cavity with loose fiberglass. Neat process but the fabric isn't durable and I wouldn't leave it exposed
