Wait. Our admin ryan is a skateboarding punk? And from my age group, knowing the wrath I've received from his PMs? I WILL NOT STAND FOR THIS

late 90s stakeboarding 4ever, srsly. Golden age of skateboarding if I say so.

AND A PORSCHE 9? Even though it was only a 964.

Explain yourself, nevermind those "ugh that was a total waste of my time" people.

Dripping Springs TX sounds like a location for the next CAR'S feature movie.

Somebody already beat me to using wax paper to keep the glue up from sticking to the "form" during glue up.

Back in the late 70's early 80's we used skateboards to get around town. I probably put 100 miles on mine over that time period. I was also the tow-guy - riding a 10 speed bike with a "rat trap" on the back towing 2 riders - one on each side. That explains why I have legs like a female Russian gymnast! All the skateboarding stopped when some guys upgraded to mopeds.

My skateboard got stolen when I left it outside the door of my dorm room in college back in 1983. I haven't been on one since. If I lived somewhere where an old fat guy on a cruiser board didn't look stupid I'd probably try it again.

Good on you Ryan for trying to help give kid's somewhere to expend their energy.

Maybe Festool needs to make a heatgun to help remove the griptape?

Cheers

Jim

It's another iteration of a gyroscope; an oldie but a goodie. Who doesn't pick up a small, open bearing set if your finger happens to fit inside and start spinning it?

My autistic nephew goes went nuts for the things.

Analog toys: Long after the empire of gameboy dies, the gyroscope will flourish.

I wish i had spinner to play with... but i wake up at 0330 am, 10 to 12 hour days as a heavy diesel mechanic really disturbs my play time with a cool spinner like this... thaks for sharing.
