My buddy Zach (Builditbigger) turned me on to this place and I have lurked for a while, but I figured I would post up and introduce myself.

My name is Marty (some folks call me "MO") and I have a home shop which I will post about here and i run a speed shop in Dallas, Georgia too.

Although I make my living as an attorney, cars are my passion. I love all things automotive.

Zach has posted some of these pictures in the night shots thread, but I am pretty sure you guys have not seen all of them.

Here is when the shop was being built. It is a 40 x 52 metal building with 4 lifts and HVAC.

As the building was being erected:

And shortly after the building itself was fiunished up:

Then when I started moving my junk in:

The first sign I had my buddy paint for the shop (this later became the logo for our speed shop):

After my buddy got done with the signs for the front of the shop:

A company that i do a lot of business with used my shop and cars for a few pages of their calendar, so the photographers went to work:

And some of the shots they took:

The shop is never done and i am always collecting and adding stuff to it.

Here are the outside walls:

And a few things I added to the outside recently:

Hey Mo, good to meet you. Looks like you've got a good collection there with a great home for them all. Glad to hear you are bi vocational, I am hoping to do the same someday soon. I am currently an engineer, but am starting a court reporting firm with my mom in North Florida to try and build something that will allow my schedule to be flexible and eventually allow me to work from home and start my own high end custom shop. If our firm ever gets up Georgia way, I'll look you up and try to solicit a little business.

Just keep in mind that with the world going digital, there has been a decrease in teh demand for court reporters. I hate it because when I started practicing I knew every court reporter. Now there are digital recorders in every court room I appear in and the only time I see court reporters is when I need a hard copy of a transcript for a deposition.

Depositions are the main income source down here in Florida. Some court rooms here have the recorders, but live reporters are still highly in demand here and I see no sign of that drying up any time at least not here anyway. Trials are good for big page counts, but depos are going to be 90% of our business. Right now we are about to start small, but as soon as we get enough cash we plan to get office space with conference rooms so we can rent them out. We also plan to get a video conference system set up in the offices as well to create as many income streams as possible. The firms who can provide good reliable service all really do well in the areas I am familiar with.

That Nova has an LS7? Wow! Can we see it? Pretty please?

You never have to twist my arm to talk/type about my cars, so here are my two Novas:
