I was out in the wood shed area today looking at some fileing cabinets that nancy got from her cousin a couple years ago and this stuff was in two of the drawers.I know the 3/4" drive ratchet and socket (armstrong 12pt x 1 1/2") are keepers but what about the two boxes? Old junk, or "collectable" ?

edit) the proto stuff is all proto except for the ratchet which is SK. The husky stuff is all husky except for the one 12 pt 1/2" socket which is walden. All of it is clean with no real wear and no rust.

No idea on value, but finding stuff you didn't know you had is always cool!

True. I just know there are people on here that "collect" different stuff, and thought I'd put them up before I dump it in my truck box. Being "proto" dont mean nuthin once they go there!

Something tells me you need to spend more time in the shed

Weve been hauling stuff up here for 4 years,I dont always know what she is bringing, its just pot luck with whatever gets loaded down at the old place.I almost scrapped the cabinets without even looking at them!

Nice find.
I bought a card-file cabinet from a government surplus sale and all I found in it was a drawer stuffed with drivers license records. Probably 2000 of them.
I'd rather find a 3/4 drive Armstrong ratchet.

I don't think what you have is particularly collectible. I would used them. they are good tools.
