File cabinet painted

I repainted a file cabinet I've been using a tool box. The color was Rustoleum Safety Red. Two coats rolled on with a 4 inch micro fiber roller. Its a nice match for the Gladiator boxes I have

Nice job. How did you prep? I did a couple but the paint didn't cure properly. I asked around and was told I should have used a primer first Duh, ready, shoot, aim! I have the primer and currently waiting for inspiration and time.

Any links to the PAINT and ROLLERS you guys are using ??

I'd love to get those results . . . . BUT . . . don't want to fawk it up !! ;)

Also, just normal rattle can Rustoleum primer after sanding and wipe-down ???
