Fill procedure for closed loop radiant heating system

how do you fill the radiant heat system. currently my basement is operating on a 9kw electric boiler and i recently built an attached 3 stall garage. when the system was originally installed they put in two honeywell valves in 1 for the basement and 1 for the future garage. now that the garage is done all i have to really do is fill the system and wire the valves.

my question is when i fill the garage loops do i have to pressurize the system to say 30 psi and if i do what type of pump should i use for the fill.

I would need to know more about your system (w/pictures) before taking a stab at it and even then I think the very best thing you can do is invite in a couple of boiler trained technicians to quote the job to tie in your garage heating loops. Will you tie all the loops together or use a manifold to split it with proportioning valves, lots of questions to sort out. If your current system has a precharged air tank with auto purge valve installed and water make-up valve - then to some extent it will be self filling but you need to circulate to get the air out (purge at the highest point in the loops also) and this should be accomplished without heat on to avoid heating a dry coil in the boiler and possible burn thru (Oops boiler shot). If you are not 100% confident in what you are doing or how to proceed, call an expert.
