Filler Detective?

Anyone have experience with this product? It is aimed at measuring bondo buildup and not paint thicknesses or just repaint.

I have no experience with that product, but you can usually tell if a panel has a lot of bondo in it by tapping on it. It just sounds different.

A refrigerator magnet works well, because it is less likely to scratch but any magnet wil do.

a magnetic business card will work as well to detect bondo buggies.
Practice a few minutes on your car to see how well it sticks....and then see how it does NOT stick on a bondo car.

Just be careful at car shows and sales, they will walk you out the door so quick.....

I have also been cussed when looking at a muscle car and just slip it out of my pocket. I am only protecting my interests, and those of my clients. Unless the seller tells me the truth, I walk.

I am no G. Govier, but I do look at a lot of mopar cars and this inexpensive tool has saved me tons of money.

This gonna work on Aluminum panels ? Sounds like this is gonna be a new tool for the re inspectors. Along with those inspection cameras with the long wand and camera/light at the end.

Not unless you find one with an aluminum magnet..........
