Hi,

In the garage I have these joins that run from one end of the slab to the other. they are nearly 10mm wide and as such a lot of dirt/dust etc collects in there. It also makes it hard to sweep up as everything just end up in the joins and I need to get down there with a small broom/dustpan and sweep the joins up.

Was just wondering what is the best way to fill these up?

Thanks

Are you going to install a finish over them? If not, you can use either an epoxy or polyurea joint filler.

not at the moment, was thinking later on about painting it or tiling but not 100% sure yet. Will it cause issues later on if I did want to paint it?

No, it won't be an issue with paint. Both are semi-rigid joint fillers, so they are designed to flex a bit with any slight movement between the slabs. If you go to a rigid finish floor, you just have to remember to honor the joint through the whole system.

thanks, is there any particular filler you recommend? Do they require much curing time?

I used plain old paintable caulk in mine and epoxied over it, never flaked off or discolored. I'm sure there are better ways of doing it, but this worked anyway.
