I got the same question for my 1/2" one. Yours is only the second tool (of any kind) I've seen branded Filson.

Is that a 3/8" drive?

Guys - this is a revelation to me. How old and what is the history of this one? Nothing on Alloy Artifacts.

I have a 9/16" combination wrench (12 pt) that is a Filson. Kinda funky finish on them, almost a galvanize type, its a little klunky, bought it at a pawn shop recently.

I used the Filson to fill out a craftsman set that the 9/16" disappeared from. The set is old (WWII) and the original one shattered years ago, Sears replaced it, but the replacement disappeared, one of the few tools that I've had get away.

I love oddball stuff like that. Maybe if you open it and lube it, it won't skip anymore?

In another thread, I had wondered if evaporust could be used as a penetrant. Based on your experience, it sounds like evaporust worked its way into the ratchet head. What do you think?

Not sure if anyone brought this brand to light yet. I just seen a similar 3/8" ratchet at a flea market. I think they wanted like $3 for it. I did notice that galvanized look on this one too.

Since there is not that much out there on the net about it, I'm just going to buy it and hang onto it. Might be something worth some dough later on, Worst case, I'll sell it at my purchase price and ignore inflation and pat myself on the back. I'll post some pics once in my hands.
