Does anyone know if they have 1 with 1/2 not ports? I can't figure out what anything has. Definitely a good deal. Thanks in advance.

Typically either 3/8 or 1/2". I had to change the reducer on my tank to upgrade to 1/2". Unless you're going to be running multiple air tools at once, 1/2" flows plenty of air for a home garage. Unless you need the lubricator, they've got a much wider selection of their regulator/filter combos in 1/4-1" sizes on that site.

I'm in for one, it will allow me to get rid of my leaky filter. Thanks OP!

Thanks to the OP for reminding me of this. I just picked up a Champion 5hp and need new components, saved a ton of scratch.

I'm thinking it depends on where you put it in your system, if you have a large compressor and want to install the combo close to it to filter and lubricate the entire system you would likely need at least 1/2" or larger.

I bought the 1/4 NPT and plan to put it at the end of my hard line and run my 3/8" hose with 1/4 NPT ends directly from it to my air tool I'm using. This will also keep me from getting my entire system contaminated with oil for when I want to paint, etc.

If I'm interpreting my specs correctly my IR 2135TiMAX uses 20 cfm at load, and the 1/4 NPT FRL combo has a flow rate of around 58 cfm at around 100 psi, which should be enough. The IR 2135TiMAX manual calls for a 1/2 NPT FRL combo though which would then neck down to a 3/8" line with 1/4 NPT ends into the impact, not sure if it actually requires this or if they just spec it to be on the safe side (if anyone has thoughts on this please let me know).

Either way for $15 I figured I couldn't go wrong. Even if it doesn't work for my impact and angle grinder it will at least flow enough for my nail guns.

For those of you who benefited from this, glad I could help.

I'm in for two 1/4" FRL's. I need another one on my back wall, and one for my plasma cutter. Thanks for posting this, I missed the first round.

Thanks, got 3 items.

I think I figured out what the self coiling hose is. It looks to be 100 feet of self coiling hose, but with no ends. Not sure if it is a good deal at about $16.

The following catalog will help you break down the part numbers on most of the filters,

Nemesis88, Thanks for the link...

Just for clarification, some of the images, are not correct, correct?

Do the non "6xx" series have a front hole, or is a pressure gauge just mounted on the right?

I've used Parker, etc...but have never used a IR/NRO and have no experience with their housing.

Moonley, Thanks for the post.

I've got one of the 1/4" Filter-Reg-Lubricators on mine I bought a number of years ago on one of these sales. It flows much better than the POS that came on the compressor.

Can't really go wrong here...

A filter is a good idea for any compressor. If your compressor already has an adjustable regulator, obviously you can pass on it.

If it has no regulator, then I'd get one of the piggyback filter/regulator combo units. Most people probably don't need the lubricator unless you use air tools quite a bit, and even then you install them close to the point of use so you're not getting oil in all the lines and contaminating your air if you want to use it to paint, plasma cutting, filling tires, etc...

I purchased the combo last night because I figured they would sell out and it was so cheap couldnt pass it up. Thanks for the advice. I have a cheap HF filter now but am wondering if I can break up the set and use the IR filter only. Maybe then I can mount the luber and use it only when needed on it's own hose.

I just ordered a Filter/Regulator combo. Thanks for posting all the info on the part numbers -- those were tough to read.

I got exactly what I was expecting to get. So just make sure you carefully decode the part number and you should be just fine.

Only drawback is that my current gauge is 1/4" NPT, and these use a 1/8" port. I'll either have to get an adapter, a new gauge, or just plumb my gauge in somewhere else.
