Does anyone know if the company selling Wix filters at decent prices and known as Filter1 is still in business? I've gone through the order process more than once and seemed to take my order but no e-mail verification or charges to the CC.

Yeah --- I tried calling and it goes to voice mail with mailbox being full. I wouldn't be posting the question if I hadn't tried calling first.
So you're one of those guys? The ones that actually try to solve a problem before posting about it on the internet.

If a company can't be bothered to at least delete the customer complaint messages in the voicemail, I'd say they're not functioning.

I used to buy lots of wix. After change in ownership now you don't know if filter will be made in USA or made in China. They increased prices compared to their competitors.

I have switched to other brands and not looking back.

Which brands are you using now?

I'm also interested in high quality, guaranteed made in USA filters, for competitive prices.

Nearly a century after inventing the oil filter, Purolator continues manufacturing to the high standard maintained by American workers in Fayetteville, North Carolina
I'm not picky about filters.

Just as long as it says Purolator on it.

Go on Bob is the oil guy. Can read for days and not come to any conclusion.

Wix still has best website for looking up filters. Can search gasket sizes, threads etc. Good resource for custom work. Then just cross to another brand.

(315) 479-1650 is listed from the Bob is the Oil Guy as an alternate number to call. Sounds like they're cheap because you aren't paying for any customer service.
