Hi All,
After a long time of offering a 40% discount to GJ Members, some increased costs from our specialized raw material suppliers will sadly cause us to reduce the discount to GJ Members to 25% starting July 5th, right after the holiday weekend, so if there are any 'fence sitters', please call us to place your orders!

The 20% discount on our Job on Pallet Commercial kits and SupraTile will stay in effect for GJ Members.

Thank you all for your support, and Happy Holiday to all!

Thanks for the heads up, as I am right on the fence but ready to get off. I have 1,131 sq/ft in the shop, and 548 sq/ft in the garage of smooth, power-troweled surface. I am very interested in the SPGX, but haven't located any photos of the pigmented product (I'd like a light gray finish). Any chance you have some photos? Prep? Slabs are new, with construction/drywall dust to clean.
Thank you,
Philip

Unfortunately we don't have photos of the gray SPGX but the finish is identical to an epoxy.

Also it only comes in a standard medium gray not light or dark.

Thanks!

Ok I was on the fence but ready to jump off, I do have one question, I'm planning on installing a scissor lift, the wheels roll along the floor, perhaps 12 inches, is the coating able to stand up to that weight?

Yes, we have 80,000 lb fire engines parking on our coatings with no issues. Thanks!

I was a fence sitter and just saw this post. I guess I sat too long?
Did I really just miss this deal by 2 days?

I need a kit to do a 28 x 32 shop.

Hi
Unfortunately Management has reprogrammed the computers and the 40% is no longer available. We can give an additional 5% courtesy discount (total for 30% discount) if the order is placed today. Thank you.

Just got off the phone with Arthur and placed my order for 10 gallons of SPGX, tan color. Looking forward to getting this down in the next couple of weeks!

What kind of prep did they recommend?
Etching or grinding?

Trying to decide and pull the trigger on a coating

Thanks, Jeff

I've got new concrete, power trowelled very smooth, with construction dust and drywall mud to clean up. They said many do nothing other than a thorough clean, but they do recommend a light etch or diamabrush to give the surface some texture for the coating to adhere best. He cautioned against grinding, as it will show through the coating. I'll do a thorough cleaning, then use the diamabrush to scuff it up, followed by another good cleaning/vacuuming. I'll be putting down 2 coats.

Damn what a shame I missed out on the 40% off deal. Just closed on my new house and want to take care of the garage before we fill it with stuff! Guess I'll just have to make due with the 25% off deal :)

Oh man, this *****. I just bought a new house and have been out of town the last two weeks. Was really looking forward to ordering an epoxy coating for the garage and laundry room. Just saw this post now :(

Sorry guys, we put notice out there! Our current 26% discount is super competitive for GJ members, and we don't anticipate seeing that change for quite a while.

Sometimes we can take advantage of bulk resin purchases from our suppliers, but those would be flash sales with limited time frames. We don't see that happening soon either as resins seem to be fairly stable right now.

Looks great. How many coats did you use, and did you go with the non-skid additive? I believe I'll be putting this down very soon on my garage floor. Depending how it goes, I'll likely be putting it down in a four car garage I'm having built as well

Sent an email to the info@ address on the 15th, still no reply. Is there another email address I should be using?

This is very disappointing. I'm now ready to purchase some epoxy since I'm all moved into my new house and it's $120ish+ more now. If I would have known I would have purchased this awhile back when I emailed to gather more information. 25% is still generous don't get me wrong, but when budgeting for 40% off price point it throws you off especially with new house.

I was able to get my order in with 40% off. I will definitely be making a "Build" thread with lots of before, during, and after pictures of the process and how the garage turns out. Thank you for the discount, it helped a lot on a much better product than what can be bought off the shelf from Home Depot!

Sent an email to [email protected] on July 15th, still no reply over a month later. Mentioned it in a post in this thread (top of this page), Armorpoxy has replied to other queries but not mine.

Wanted to order product and have it delivered to Canada, but I guess I'm back to square one looking for an epoxy option.

We have no record of the email. Please resend or call our office with what you need, postal code and we can get you pricing. From time to time emails from out of the country get killed by our spam blockers. Our apologies!
