I am in the process of converting my existing garage to a single WORKING garage and then building another garage more as a dry storage garage. Here is an picture of my existing garage it is 18 x 28:

I am removing the Kwik-Lift and adding a new four post lift. My Race Deck question is can the tiles stand up to the pounding they'll get in a working garage? I have two street rods and will be shuffling them in and out onto the lift for various attention as needed, but there is a lot of wrenching that goes on in this garage.....will they hold up ??

I had similar questions about Racedeck when I started my research into the subject and have discovered many owners who have installed four-post lifts and other heavier equipment with no problems.

I would suggest using darker tiles to help maintain the look as white, yellow or lighter tiles might show more dirt and wear than the darker tiles.

Hi
There many on this forum who have RaceDeck and use it in their garage where they build all kinds of things, myself included, I am sure someone will chime in. 4 post lifts are not an issue
Here are a few shots, though we dont have too many photos of garage that are down and dirty ;) most send us their new garage floor installs and once clean and organized with their new floor, it tends to stay that way

The sample Race deck Tile I recieved was the Coin Top design. I'm wondering if the Diamond Plate pattern would be better or worse for rolling creepers, welding carts, Torches etc ??

Any thoughts on the surface design ?

They both will perform well. The tread patterns are not only the right height, they are raidiused for easy rolling & cleaning.

Never having worked on a product like this I'm nearly ready to do it.

Yeah, a month ago, I called RD about fifty times [well, not quite that many], with more questions. They never seemed tired of me, and I eventually gave in and ordered. They really go the extra mile to help you out with any questions you might have. I think I called them twice in one day once.

Don't forget: you get a discount for being part of the Garage Journal family. At least, I'm pretty sure that's the case.
