Hi everyone, having a really hard time making a decision here.

The garage is a 24x24, unfinished. I did all of the electrical this spring and just have to add welder and heater outlets now. Everything else on that front is complete.

I am having troubles with setting up my bench, tool box, compressor, and mitre/table saw. I keep a car in the garage and keep the right bay open for working on things. In the summer I will be moving the riding lawnmowers, four wheeler, snowmobile, and motorcycle into the back shed. I will also be taking down the two small cabinets either side of the window as I find them intrusive while working at the bench.

I just started to insulate with insulation I removed from our house that is undergoing renovations. Will be completed, vapor barrier'd, and sheeted with OSB.

Can you guys help me out with some pictures of 24x24x8 garages? I'd love to have 10' or 12' ceilings but that doesn't seem feasible anymore.

- Don't know where to build my bench
- Don't know where to keep my wood power tools
- Don't know where to incorporate additional storage shelving.

What about flipping where the car is? Can the car fit on the right side and not block the man door. This would give you the whole left side and front wall for your bench, cabinets, etc. Maybe a "L" shaped bench in the front left corner.

Definitely, I have been considering that too I'm not hesitant because then I'd have to walk by the car when going to grab tools (there is lots of room but still).

Certainly a consideration, could build a nice 'L' shaped bench.

Also thinking about building my bottom box into the bench and putting the top box on top. Would need a 12' or longer bench though.
