I've been crusing around this site for a while now dreaming about the shop I wanted so badly.
A little back story,
I was renting a garage space about four years ago, built my model A there, it was a nice setup, (cheap and great landloard) after I finshed the A I started looking for a house with a garage, it was time to have something of my own. Ended up buying a place with no garage but enough room to build one, that was close to four years ago. I thought I could have one built the first year... well finally last november I was able to get the funds together and have a pole building put up.
I spent most of 2012 clearing and getting the lot prep done, in mid november the building was up in two days! I went with a 30x40 (a hair bigger then my house haha) it was as big as I could go on my lot. Plans for the building include radiant heat, finished walls, bathroom, end bay has sissor truses for a lift down the road... ect...
Here are a few pics from start to where it is now, waiting for the weather to break to get back to work on it.
this is the lot I started with, about 20' deep of brush
A friend let me borrow this... lots of fun!
All clear
Potential problem, underground elec, service to the house cuts through garage wall. Luckly we were able to work around it.
Materials arrive
Going up
How it sits now
Thanks in advance
Jeremiah
