Finally built!

Brand new 24x26x9 metal garage has been built. Now for the rest of the work, electrical, plumbing, insulation?, and so on. Open to suggestions and comments. I’m in north central Florida so don’t have to worry to much about cold just heat and humidity.

Gonna be a garage/man cave. Storage for mower and ATVs on one side, vehicle repair/ maintenance on the other side.

Purchased it from Handi house in lake city. Concrete work was a headache as he lacked communication skills as in no call no shows but it finally got done.

Started painting the floor today. One coat down, second is tomorrow.

Not worried about cold ... I don't worry about cold either. In central MN cold will come whenever it wants, whether you worry about it or not

Spray foam the piss out of it and put in a window ac or mini split unit

Welcome and nice start. Tallahassee here so probably 1-1/2 hrs away. Definitely concur with the spray foam and a/c. A friend has a similar shop and foamed the ceiling.

I think the general consensus is roughly $1/sqft per inch for closed cell. So you'd be looking at roughly $1,300 for 2 inches of closed cell.

Open cell is cheaper but will need a thicker coat applied.

His building is 18x40 with 12’ walls. I think it cost him $700 for the ceiling. It’s been 5+ years.

Well haven’t posted in a while. A lot has changed I will try to get some more pictures when it light out and not raining.

Got the cabinet doors done and installed, desk is painted, plumbing started. Still got some finishing touches. But it’s slowly coming along.
