Got the box in March. Real rusty and missing the tray. Restored it and put it to work. Kept an eye out for a tray, but figured the chances of getting one in decent shape were low.
Then two weeks ago found one for sale in the classifieds. A deal was struck, and I got the tray yesterday. Light sand and repaint, now my two orphans have been brought together.

Thanks Mike'smeatshop!

Well done! What’s the trick in sanding, spraying and restoring the chrome parts?

Fine sandpaper (like 220 or 400), wipe with brake cleaner, then careful painting with high temp silver. Not really restoring, but bringing the metal back to an approximate silver finish while stopping the rust.

P.S. Thanks all for the likes. I really didn't think I would find a lone tray for sale. Big thanks to Mike for selling me that one.
The clasps were also mangled and damaged, so straightening was needed before paint. Here's what they looked like at the start.
