I've been meaning to put some kind of visual deterrent up for a while now and finally got started on it today. Just got the two windows in the one-car portion done for now. Will do the other four this week. It's frosted contact paper, doesn't get much easier. Enough talk, here's pics.

The only downside I can think of is the garage gets constant sun so I can see the paper yellowing over time. And I'm sure it will get really baked on so removal may not be too easy, but I'll worry about all that when the time comes. For now it's a nice change and it does the job.

The contact paper has a nice texture, but the longevity may be you only issue.

Tonight at Wally Wold, I saw a can of Krylon spray paint called 'Frosted Glass' that should do the same thing.

I used fluorescent light fixture defusers and cut them to fit over the glass on my doors. Thought that was what I was seeing, until I read the paper thing, faked me out.

I bought a roll of automotive window tint for like $9 in my last garage. Worked great, and was cheap and easy like what you did. Thankfully my newer garages dont have a single window.

Thats a good idea but probably more expensive than the $8 roll of contact paper I got.

I think that looks damn good.
Thanks, I'm happy with it.

Got two more done yesterday, will do the last two when I get off work today.
