Moving forward with 100% Epoxy by Durall. I am not doing it myself, want it done right and with a better warranty.

Below is a before shot, I will post back some more pics as it's being done. First coat is going on Friday and 2nd coat going on Saturday.

I am in MN do not have heat yet in the garage, so they are supplying the heat. Suppose to be mid 40's on Friday and mid 50's on Saturday.

What is the deal with all the different colors? Are those large areas of spalling?

Looks good

It is a lot better that's for sure. I will not have to worry about falling into holes when rolling around on my creeper under a car.

It is still a little tacky on the feet. The last coat was put down Sunday afternoon, and a couple of small heaters were running from Friday when the first coat was put down, until they picked them up on Monday afternoon. Temps were high 40's and lows around 30 at night. I feel it could have been warmer to help it set up better. I will try to get a heater in there by the weekend, and this weekend it is suppose to be highs in the 60's so this should help.

You're not gonna spraypaint cabinets right on the new floor too... are ya? :p

Negative, think I'll use the lawn next time. I was using a air powered sprayer and tried to use cardboard to help as you can see in the squares of paint line.

It did come off easily with the power sprayer.

Looks pretty good. How much did it run you to have it done by someone else and what kind of warranty did they offer?

$1398 and a two year warranty.

Had some other similar quotes for Pulyurea coating with longer warranty, but I was not confident they would be around to honor their warranty in the future. Especially in this economy.

Here is there website, they also offer a DIY kit if you get a quote from their website it gives you a kit with and without hardware to do the job. I did the Dura-Poxy which is the 100% Epoxy, they also have a Dura-Seal which is more of a paint.
