I finally got to paint the floor today guys. Useed the Rustoleum Epoxy Shield paint. I guess I'll find out how well it will hold up. What it did show me is that I **** at finishing cement. If this paint messes up I may grind it off and replace it with ceramic tile. Anyway, thanks for all the tips and inspiration guys. Now I have to begin on the house roof.

Wait a minute, can you use those words in that order to make that sentence? I didn't think that sentence was possible!

Thanks for the kudos guys. It does feel good to have it cleaned up. I can't wait to show the garage now. It used to be a place to have to say "excuse the mess" about. Yes, the step is portable and removed for the picture. It is quite step without it. For the stripe I went to HD and got the brightest semi gloss red they had, don't know what color or brand, just bright red. I painted it 6 inches wide. Then I put a 2 inch checker stripe on it. I got the stripe from Speedway Motors. It is self adhesive and sticks on well so far. It is hard to keep little wiggles out of it but it does set on the red background real nice. I can honestly say the garage is finshed. Now it's on to the shop. Maybe a complete tear down and rebuild ....

Thanks Heminmygarage. That is a cement pier that surrounds my garage for my pier and beam foundation. I painted it with grey, oil based cement paint because there will be no traffic on it(I hope). I just ordered some black and white garage floor tiles. There is nothing wrong with the epoxy but it doesn't give me the look I want. Pics in a few weeks.
