Almost 10 years and finally finishing the garage! Here are some pictures of the start to current from insulation to paint. Still need to do the floor because of heavy pitting. Will post more once I get the floor done.

Thanks! The blue is actually a little darker than what pictures show.

Looks good, though the mirror image on the first picture made me shake my head a bit...

Wow, that is weird, the picture was side ways and I changed it in photobucket. Must have did something I was not trying to do when rotating it.

Dude what happened to the floor. The last pic it looks like someone went at it with a jack hammer a few times in random spots.

The floor is next. House built in 1962 I assume the garage floor is that old. And being in Minnesota means 47 years of salt water dripping off cars every winter season breaks down the concrete. It really ***** when your on a creeper and you "fall" into a hole and get stuck.

Not sure what I will do to fix, will get some better pix of it all and start a thread on the floor forum. I did fill some holes aout 5-6 years ago with cement patch and about 85 percent of that has held up.

I will add some pull switches to shut some down. Got the lights off Craigslist for $8.50 each including bulbs they were from a display case setup so they have a 45 degree angle to them so I pointed the angle towards the center of the garage. Thinking about buying more for the storage area in the ceiling and maybe for my storage area in my attic.

Holy blinding light batman! Amazing what some white paint and nine fixtures can do. You can do brain surgery in there now! Well done!!

I feel I should put sunblock on!

It was cloudy here yesterday and I prepped cabinets for paint, and the light was great. Nice to be able to see where you sanded and where you didn't.

Should have the cabinets painted and up by the end of the week. Going with the same gray color that is on the walls as I have enough of it left over.

The Toyota Supra is for sale and on eBay:

OK Turtle, You Win First place in "best lighting" in garage category.

How many bulbs are there and has your electric bill spiked?

No fear, you are nearing the finish line and can be mighty proud of your persistence.

Thanks for sharing.

Busy weekend, but still got some work done. Sanded cabinets, primed and re-sanded, ready for paint.

Thanks for the compliments.

11 fixtures so 22 bulbs.

Not sure what I will see on the electric bill, but one things for sure, I will be able to read it!

I will hopefully have pics of the cabinets/workbench installed by the weekend.

Thanks for the comments/compliments...
