We where hitting a few flea markets today and at one i was looking through a booth with a bunch of cheap tools when a guy behind me told his wife"This torque wrench looks just like my snapon but i don't see the name"Well he put's it down and walks off so i pick it up to check it out,Under the price sticker is the words SNAPON made in USA! It's an old bar scale 1/2" drive torque wrench but hey i been needing one! Looks good in my tool box too:bounce: Oh yeah the price? $4.50! Might not be the greatest score ever but i'm happy:beer:

Just because it says snap on doesn't mean its accurate. Check it against a known good torque wrench before using it on anything critical. Good score otherwise

It appears that SO no longer carries a simple beam type torque wrench. All they show online are clickers, dial type, electronic and certain specialty ones (screwdriver type, etc). No beam type.
