Finally found a tire gauge I really like (PCL)

After years of frustration with cheap tire gauges I finally did some research and found one that I really like. It flows well and comes in different varieties with tip and pressure ratings. Highly recommend for anyone looking, they come digital as well. 75$ shipped. Made by PCL.

There are Chicom units for less than $25, which I've verified accurate to one-tenth of a PSI.

This is one such, but there are several similar.

We can agree 75 is expensive for a tire gauge but I have and have tried multiple tire gauges from China and none seem to flow as well as this or they have little things break on them. I personally think I’ll live the rest of my life with this guage, but to each their own.

How does one verify a tire gauge to 1/10 of a PSI? I have a handful of cheap ($2) pencil types, and they all agree pretty close, but I have no idea if they are actually accurate. I'd also have no idea if a $25 Chinese one was accurate, or a $75 one.

The PCL is all you see in the UK in professional use, their couplers and air line fittings too.
For the home user you would never need another inflator.

Not sure about Other part of the world, but I loved my Slime Glycerine filled large face tire pressure gauge... and It's only $30 USD here.. and just used it few hours ago too .

Where did you order it from? Looked on Amazon and seen it listed from a third party seller for around $150 or so.

Damn, 75 bukeroos, I have used a quality pencil gauge for years, 5 bucks or so, I do need to switch hands to use the air hose. 75 bucks you say, damn.

The pencil gauge work fine for me. I've used a couple of those inflator/gauge things and didn't really understand the desire.

If your in a busy shop servicing a lot of cars it's quicker being able to inflate/deflate and measure pressure with the same tool, PCLs are robust reliable and stand up to some serious abuse

If your mounting new tyres a high air flow is nice to have

I don't think $75 is expensive for a good quality tool made in England aimed at pro workshops

had this pcl one many years lot of use still works well . the only thing thats been changed is the connector .
