After many hours/days of surfing Craigslist, I finally found my box. I passed on many a red and green one to finally find this. Some may not love the color combo, but as soon as I saw it, I wanted it. It's not flashy, but just different enough to stand out a bit. Got a decent deal, it's in perfect shape, and it's a far cry from the Costo box I'd been using for the past 3 1/2 years. I'm glad I found this forum before I bought, and used a lot of the info to come to the conclusion that the KRL722 would fit the bill perfectly for me.

I personally like it, simple elegance without those IMHO extremely gaudy caster centers that some of the newer boxes have. Just a very clean look black with a bit of color in the trim. Good size and looks to be in nice condition. Enjoy it

Now if you can only get Richard Sherman to sign it:lol:

Nice box, you will be pleased with it.

Hope the Seahawks do well in the Bowl. Manning is tough to beat.

I need to watch CL more diligently. That's a heck of a box, kinda what I want.

To find a box on CL, you need to watch several times a day in a metro area. If its a deal, it won't last long. If its on Baltimore CL,,,,,,,,,,don't bother,,,,,,,,,,,,,I already bought it:lol_hitti

Seriously, deals can be had, but you have to be diligent and have cash in hand and be quick. The other method that works is to take note of the boxes that have been on a long time. After a while, folks realize their dream price ain't gonna happen and are open to an offer. I have emailed folks that I buy and sell boxes and to call me if they can't get it sold. Sometimes you will get a call a month later.

$2000 even. Not a scratch on it. It was 6 hours away, but happened to have a buddy working in Spokane so I got free delivery as well! I did have to personalize it with the Hawk logo! Manning will definetely be tough.

I bought my KRA off CL. Got a deal for $1400 with a MG325 thrown in, though I sacrificed and got a color that wasn't my favorite but it was a good deal. Guy just needed money.

CL is such a good thing... but could be a huge pain in the a$$! I thought this deal was gonna fall through, but ended up working out fine. I almost pulled the trigger on many a KRA, but after many reviews and posts, I decided the KRL would work as (hopefully) the last box I buy. I saw many a Matco and others for sale, but wanted a 40-ish inch top as I use it as a work bench quite often. I had my tape measure out so many times trying to justify a taller box, but in the end, I knew what I wanted and held out until I found it.

Keep lookin' and don't be in a hurry. Most of them I saw locally were all in the 3-4000 as well. I expanded my search to Portland and Spokane. Figured I'd be willing to drive for the right deal. Got lucky on this one as the ad was close to a month old, so I was surprised (and sceptical) that it was still available. I was thinking there must be something wrong with it. Had my buddy give it a good once over and she was on her way home to me. Good deals are out there, as well as crazy-asses thinking their stuff is gold!

Congrats on the KRL. I like the color. I'm not a professional mechanic and as much as I want one, I can never bring myself to drop the coin for one. Maybe someday…
