Finally gave in to age ....

I've been installing modular cabinet packages as part of what I do for 29 years. I work alone, and about to turn 59. The last kitchen I installed had multiple 36" x 42" x 12" deep wall cabinets made with 5/8" particle board. The local cabinet supplier mentioned how heavy they were to deliver and asked how the hell I still do this alone. He made me stop and think. So I ordered a helper ( http://www.e-zspreadnlift.com/details.htm ). I used to think devices like this were for old guys or guys who just didn't know what they were doing. Well, I think I know what I'm doing, so I guess I'm now an old guy. This thing should make life easier. Looks pretty well made. Breaks down to sections for transporting. Looking forward to the next cabinet install.

Looks like it'll make it nice and easy to get the cabinets nice and aligned and easier to drive fasteners into them rather than having to simultaneously hold them up while trying to align/fasten.

MIL had new cabinets put in, and the guy only used 3 or 4 screws per cabinet, and each one split the wood. Because he didn't pre-drill.

Those hard phenolic wheels might be an issue if your customer has a tile floor.

Nothing wrong with looking after yourself. I think you should have done it ten years ago. I bought some knee pads for tiling a couple bathrooms and can't figure why I didn't do it years ago and save a lot of hobbling around.

Used one to install my kitchen cabinets. Went over to Feasterville, PA and walked around the shop with the fellow who makes them; a one man part-time operation. Really clean and great quality.

As to tile floors. I put some Masonite on the floor, rolled nice and easy.

Need to get rid of mine too as I am hoping not to be installing too many more cabinets.

Colson Performa with the gray thermoelastic rubber tread compound would be perfect for that lift. I'm assuming they're 3 inch diameter judging by the picture.

I got one for free awhile back that is its big brother . Great little rigs . I used it to remove and raise the trusses on my shop from 10" to 16" . trusses are 20 wide and it worked great . Dang handy rigs , wish I had one years ago . You will like it alot !
