Finally gettin' started

Broke...errrr, added ground for my 60x64 playland (40x60 w/24x60 lean to), have a 2' drop to opposite corners. Still have to compact, dig, etc etc... This is going to be a fully welded "pipe" frame stucture. My brother has had 2 done by this company and the work is flawless: http://www.wdmb.com/texas_metal_buildings.asp

Update, finally got the first pour done last weekend, just made the second pour today, so the slab is done...... just in time to make it to the "Day of the Drags" at Temple Acad. Racetrack The building will start on Monday.

This is worse than Christmas Eve ever has been, can't wait for in the morning, they should be here to start my building. It should be a two day build, then I will have the overheads installed and do some windows myself. I will have pictures in various stages soon.....

Ok the shell is done, now to get to work on the inside, this will be a log term project. We installed the extra windows, still need to trim them out. The front will be about 1000 square feet of living area, yes I am gonna live in a barn. That will leave about 2800 square feet for my toys. The plan is to close in the lean to at a later date. Will install a two post lift, I put a couple of chains in the concrete for tie downs out under the lean to, the plans are endless at this time, you know the "dreamin" part.

Seriously, there are times I wish I lived in a rural area where I could get away with something like that. This garage is bigger than my house!
