Been watching all of these great threads and finally figured I had my garage put together enough to post a few pics. If you cant tell, I'm a bike nut.

General shot:

Important books kept close at hand:

Scored this little beauty at a local thrift store for $10 (minus the motor)

Same wall of the garage but near the door. Theres a dresser under there somewhere that needs fixed and put where it goes, then I plan on more shelving for the totes on that wall.

Other side of the garage- storage for current projects, some lawn & garden junk, gas/oil/coolant/etc, and some BikeS!

And a bit more storage. Got the welder in there, not a bad spot for now but it would be nice to have a bench or something other than the ground to weld on... Its small and easy to move though.

Still have some "decorating" and organizing to do, and I have GOT to get rid of that awfull color. Blech.

Is that an yamaha enduro 175? I learned to ride on my dads. Its been sitting in my dads basement since i blew the shocks back in the mid nineties.

edit: The one one the left looks really similar.

Whups, guess I missunderstood you... The only Yamaha in the shop is the one on the lift- its a '67 YL2C, which is only 100cc. Great little bike though. It was my first ever motorycle- a friend and I found it in a shed while we were ice fishing, talked to the owner and he gave it to us. I've had it for about 15 yrs, and the last ten its just been sitting in my Dads garage. He said it was time to clean up so I finally hauled it home, got it running again, and am in the process of putting on the road WITHOUT the 12v car battery strapped on the rear rack...

:D One of the benefits of working at university was I got to go dumpster diving whenever we dropped of dead lawnmowers at the metal dumpster... Every now and then you'd find some great stuff. None of my signs are stolen.
