Have not posted in awhile so here is an update..bought additional 10+ acres behind me as guy was moving and I wanted to keep my privacy and building will be going there. Just got pad built for building using dirt or should I say red clay from pond to keep costs down since it took around 300++ loads at 18 yards each to get pad etc where I wanted it. Contractor used 9320 John Deere 8 wheel articulate tractor and 18 yard pan to dig pond, a lot quicker than using a drag line and dump truck simply drive in and remove dirt then dump at new location which was 200ft from pond. Drag pan can actually spread it out pretty nice and with a combined weight of 26000 lbs for pan and 45000 for tractor compacts dirt at same time. Building will be 50x90ft x 16 ft high enclosed with lean to on 1 side of 25 x 90ft with 14ft of clearance with no concrete for tractors, trailers, motor homes etc. and another on opposite side facing pond of 20 x 45 ft (10ft ceiling) with full concrete floor for party's and cook outs etc. Total of 7650 sq ft under roof. Main building will have 8 skylights, full insulation, 3 all metal jambs etc (3070 doors) 1 (6070 door) 2 (14x14ft roll ups) 1 (12 x 10ft rollup) with full concrete floor. Have signed contract on building just waiting for drawings etc so we can get a permit.. Building will be erected by contractor, I will do electrical and plumbing, etc. Prices here in Georgia are pretty good if everything comes together as planned, total cost for 10 acres and building will be a lot less than 1 acre of raw land $250,000 + here in Palm Beach County, Fl. Will try to keep pics coming as construction begins. See pics of pond being dug and pad here..http://trs900.zoto.com/galleries/georgia

Dixie loves the water, it has been real dry in Georgia and every one was surprised to see water in pond, came from underground spring or ground water not sure. I hope it fills up so I won't be looking at a big hole.
