New to the forum, found you guys after Googling ideas for the shop. Great site!
It's been a long time in the planning, but the time is here. Started last week on the new shop. 40x60x16 with 3 bays (5th wheel, dog truck / mini excavator, a work bay for the tractors and a 15x40 welding / woodshop / coffee shop / man-cave.
I'm going to build a 15x40 mezzanine above the tool area.
Planning on heating with a wood stove, with a 115,000 btu reznor as a constant 45 degree backup.
The security and camera system will be tied into my homes cameras so it will be able to be monitored on my phone.
We got the roof on today. I should have the rest of the tin on by dinner this Saturday.
I'm just so excited, I had to tell somebody (and the wife couldn't care less, so she's no help there)!
