I had seen it on Craigslist last summer, and kept watch of it. the price kept getting lower, and in January had gotten down to $450. I called and went to look at it, bought it and negotiated delivery the same day for another $150.
It is a 20 year old Herkules L1200S, current price $12,219. spent most of its life in a body shop.
5000 pound capacity, so it won't do my big pickups, but I didn't expect it to. Uses a giant double airbag tom lift it, I had never seen that before, but it lifts smoothly and quickly, with an air released mechanical lock for safety.
