Finally got a Snap On

I got a Snappy Dual 80 long handle flex head with soft grip today. It's a 3/8. The family of one of my employees has some Snap On routes and my employee brought it to work with him today.

It may be the only SO ratchet I ever get, but I'm sure I will enjoy it. It's smooth, very smooth.

There’s no way he’s leaving that ratchet in the garage. It will be on his night stand for atleast a week.

Congrats on the ratchet. I got my first snap on ratchet and next thing I knew I had all the lengths. Do I need all of them? No... but do I care? Hell no.

I just got my 1st dual 80 late last year. I don't suddenly feel like a pro but it is a nice ratchet and feels stout like the old Snap-on ratchets do.

I have the chrome handle and I'm not the biggest fan, and this coming from a big chrome handle guy...i like Cornwell chrome and Wright knurled handles better. But the d80 mechanism is good enough to overlook that flaw in my eyes. I think I would like this in a hard handle except SO doesn't offer the model I have with one to the best of my knowledge.

I picked it up cheap, I would not have paid full price for it as a diy. I have quite a few other quality ratchets and was fine with them before this fell into my lap, but I finally got to find out what the hype was about. I think it's deserved.
