I've been wanting this jack forever but I didn't have a Costco membership. I bit the bullet and got a membership and the jack. This is by far the best value in jacks that I've found. I've been looking for a low profile jack that was built just as well as my blue Michelin jack that I got at Sams Club back in 2002.

Overall the build quality of this jack is about as good as you're going to get for an import. It is solidly built and HEAVY (100lbs). Because of that it's not real maneuverable, but that's not an issue for me. I did notice that one of the front wheels is about 1/8" higher than the other, but it seems they are all that way and does not affect stability whatsoever. The pumping action is not quite as fast as my old Michelin but close.

It's first job was a tire rotation on my Explorer, which it handled with ease. Highly recommend this jack.

Been thinking of getting rid of my 4 ton C Man which is starting to leak down and getting one of those.
What is the max lift height on it? My C Man is about 19" which isn't tall enough for a couple of my vehicles. I have to stack wood blocks on top of the pad.

The guy down the road from me runs a tire shop and has no lift or anything. Uses 2 of those jacks. Bought them new last spring and they are still going strong.

I have a Arcan also but in black, purchased from Northern Tools. First use was on my 88' F350 which it handled with ease.

Thanks, JASTECH

I am still using older blue color one. Had it for more than 5 years, and still works good.

I picked one up this past fall and find myself using all the time. Not just for my car, but for my lawn mower, motorcycle, etc, etc... It's one of the best Costco purchases I've ever made. Blows my crapsman out of the water.

Will the Arcan XL35R jack leak in a year or 2? Most people on this board have reported that import jacks look great initially but don't last.

The tire guy down the road from me has been using his for going on 1.5 years now, lifts more cars in a day with a pair of those Arcan jacks than many of us do in a year.

Not sure if its just my garage lighting, or is this thing more pink than red? Mine is anyway! :(

I have one, and have been happy with it so far. Probably had it about a year. Easily lifts my truck or car.

Ive had mine (black model from Northern-tool) for 2.5 years now without a single issue. It's a fantastic jack. I'm one of the unlucky ones that paid $199, but overall I'm still very happy with my purchase. Mine gets used about 3x a week.

Do you think it is worth the worth $50 to join Costco to get it? When I used to have the membership I seldom used it. Just didn't want to waste time all my time in Costco
