It's been a long time coming. It took over a year to get completed for lighting in my 40'x50' shop. There are basically 3 bays. The outer are low bay while the inner is high bay. I'm using 8 TCPI 105w 5000k fixtures down the middle. There are 2 zones, front and back, with 4 lights each. These are installed from conduit runs which allow the outer fixtures to be exposed with the 12'x12' doors fully open. The low bays are Litetronics 64w 8' 5000k units. 8 (2x4) down the full 40' and 6 (2x3) down a 29' run. The bathroom occupies the other 11'. They are suspended using Litetronics SFAM02 cable hanger kits that make installation and leveling a simple task. I started installing dimmer wiring for the high bays with the thought of dimming the low bays too. The lighting is bright but not blinding. I don't think I'll spend the time or additional funds for dimmers. With these 62 y.o. eyes I can see clearly at any task from the bridgeport to brake work on the lift to sorting through the tool boxes. Now, to it's time to put order and cleanliness to work.

Yes, the doors do go above the lights. It took a bit of time to figure out how to achieve that and still clear the 166" height of the 2 post lift.
