When I got new garage doors, I also raised the rails (on the 2 car bay side only) and added that exact opener, I love it! In fact, I like it so much, I now want to add another one to the single bay side.

Isthere a locking mech on there? That's one thing I don't like about the "regular" openers is how they don't really have locks (I know they are their own locks). I unhook the doors from the openers in my shop over the winter, as I don't want to accidentally open the door and hit my car on the lift, or stuff that may have accumulated against the doors. When I do this, the only lock on the doors is a pair of Vice-Grips!
Mine was only $200 more than the std opener. It was included in my garage build package.

We had one installed about a year and a half ago with a new 16' door, we love it ! It's strong and quiet - that's the pro's!
The con is that we sold the house and are moving, but the upside of that is the new house has a 16' and a 8' door.......with no openers!

1badmach1 - Consider getting the battery back up unit as well. I think mine was like an extra $50. Anyway, I wanted to see how long the battery would last so I purposely left mine on just battery power and it lasted a good 3-4 days, with lots of daily use.
