So I get on craigslist as I always do everyday and see a wilton vise for 25 bucks I figured it would have been sold but nope I got it here are some pics also can anyone tell me anything about it thanks.

Really nice score for $25! Good job. The cobwebs going on is classic, must have been in storage for a while. Looks to be in good shape though.

I'd guess that number on the bottom is the date...so 1988? Pure guess though...

However, I'm not guessing on the fact that YOU ****! :thumbup:

Actually the date is usually on the bottom of the alignment key stock. When you pull the dynamic jaw most of the way out, turn the vise over and its there. The 101088 is probably the part # for the base.

I do concur on the awarded suckage however.....

Killer deal -- and a beautiful vise!

I've seen the anvil surface painted over like that before, and I'm not sure what the reason is for it. Is it that you don't plan on using the anvil?
