I have never had much luck finding quality tools at the flea market and when I do the seller always seems keenly aware of the value. Today, while sifting through a bucket of rusty old wrenches I found 2 Hazet German made wrenches, neat but not too exciting, and then these two, if you recognize the second one down is you know how special it is! :D

What is so special about the second wrench?

It might be because Vincent made motorcycles at one time and now trying to find a Vincent motorcycle is like trying to find hens teeth.

Just me $.02 worth.

My dad has a few Vincent tools along with a tool board. They are hung on the wall next to his 4 Vincent motorcycles.

I got to touch a black shadow once, someday I'd like to throw a leg over and see what she can do. I'm smart enough to know that they are old, cursed, leaky, unreliable British machines but man oh man, they are gorgeous!

Great score on the wrenches. I have one of the Jags and would love to find a Vincent!

This is probably the coolest 51 Vincent Black Shadow I've ever seen. It was built by Redneck Engineering out of Liberty South Carolina...

Something tells me that the chassis is safely stored somewhere and there is no/minimal mods done to the engine. The original bike will be worth more in the future than this creation...which I don't mind actually, as long as they haven't moded the engine so it cant return to its former glory.

That Jaguar wrench will fetch quite a bit from the Jaguar people. Most of the XK-120/140 and E-Types from the 60's end up missing the tools. A complete tool roll will fetch $800+. Do not wire wheel it or do a major clean up or the value will be gone.
Sell it and you'll be able to get lots more tools! Regards

"In my opinion, there's nothing in the world
beats a '52 Vincent and a red headed girl
Now Nortons and Indians and Greeves won't do -
they don't have the soul of a Vincent '52."

Currently I'm trying to rid my life of all things Jaguar, if my reserve is met I'll just include it with the sale ;)

That's not necessarily an original engine. There are a few makers of replicas around.

This threads gone way off the tracks haha

There was a guy at the Tsawwassen show and shine near Vancouver, BC that had original castings and was building motors also.

If its a repro thats great! Bringing attention to the legendary Vincent name, but if its an original engine, its pure blasphemy :lol_hitti

Figured Id throw these vids in, just awesome
