Looks like a pretty good size shed, why tear it down other than its blocking the one bay door?

A couple of obeservations......

Your going to be real glad you put that row of block on there....it gets your walls up and away from the dirt....it will go a long way to increasing the life if your wood structure....

It looks like you put a lot of thought into your layout....would love to see an top view...but it appears that once your 'shed' is gone, then you have a sweeping drive up to your garage. Is that your house in the background? Or, are you on the bend of the road?

Please tell me you used Pressure Treaded wood for your bottom plate. From the pics it looks like regular wood.

So the front is 2x6 construction but the rest of the walls are 2x4? If so, a bit late now but personally I would have gone 2x6 all the way. When you get taller than 8', 2x4's have a hard time staying straight. No issues on strength. And 2x6's would allow you more insulation.

Interesting how you ran your OSB horz instead of vert. Not an issue....In fact, it's been asked several times and there appears to be no reason why you can't. I'm assuming vinyl on the outside?

Once you get the shed out of the way, are you going to make an awning over the front roll up doors? With all the rain you get, I bet it would be worth the effort.

Speaking of roll up doors....your going to install a Liftmaster 3800, right? If so, make sure you plan for power in the front on the wall up high.....if not, do the power there anyway in case you change your mind later.

I see what looks like conduit for power and cable? Your wise keeping it in the wall.

I like how you got your windows up high like that....not too high to see out...but high enough to be above the work bench....your going to be glad for the natural light.

It's obvious you have a lift planned......

What is the intended use of the garage?

And.....I think your doing a great job.....I know how you feel.....it feels really good once you start bringing stuff into the garage....

Looking forward to more pics....btw....I have the same Ryobi Miter saw....I've used the dog **** out of mine....

Hindsight is 20/20 I wish I would have used 2x6 for the walls, it is all 2x4.
The seal plate is treated and haven't thought about an awning but is a good idea.
Liftmaster will come later, I did plan for it and put power on the front wall. I also prepped for a two post lift that will come later.
I enjoy rail buggy him climbing so my garage is for building and maintaining my personal buggies. And a good place to just get away if the need arises.

You were dead on about the hight of the windows

I put 6 400 watt metal halide and 4 four foot 4 bulb florescent fixtures in for lighting

Put a torch reel between the rollup doors

Also hung 2 air hose reels from the ceiling one at the front and one at the back

It's not too late and will only cost you a few hundred. You have an 8" block, you can still add 2x4's on top of the 2x's that you already have. That will allow you to put thicker insulation in.
