Hey everyone. Seems that every time I google an idea it winds up bringing me to this site. Soooooo that must be all the good ideas are here? Well after moving into our home two years ago I finally decided to re arrange my cluttered up garage so I can spend more time in it and tinker with projects. It's a small 20x24 garage. I did not have any overhead storage so I put 2x6-20' stringers in, used double sided Purlin hangers for crossbracing and used 3/4" 4x8 OSB T&G for overhead storage. Also added a drop down ladder for access. Made sense seeing I despise dragging out the ladder every time I need something. This is a temporary setup as I plan on saving up for an oversized 3 car within 5 years. However I'm really itching to do some motorcycle repairs, etc and my basement shop area isn't that convienient to get a bike in there ( besides fumes, etc). I'm currently looking for some low cost ideas for small wall cabinets and collapsible/movable work benches. I have a temporary wooden frame screwed into the front section of the garage where I store a few bike projects underneath with extra room for storage above.
