no...its a 1966 Mustang fastback with most of the Shelby Mods. A long time ago, I picked up a Hipo 289 that was built for a Shelby Vintage race car. I finally came across a Fastback body and decided to make it "like" a Shelby. It has the 1966 Shelby Side windows and side scoops. I put a 9" out of a Lincoln Versailles and a Rack from Total Control. A few years back, my wife got me a Paxton like the original ones installed by some dealers.

That is a great project, and has it has some history as well -- good job.

Old man Shelby would probably sign it for a few grand :lol_hitti

It seems he's put his signature pretty much on every original, custom and clone out there -- to the point where it's getting rediculous.

The total control is great. It was the only one I found that had appropriate clearance with Headers, etc.. It is a manual rack as I didn't want to deal with the pump. It is MUCH better than manual steering...

I did get him to sign the glove box... He does it for a $250 donation to his heart foundation.. Really adds to the look...

I bought them at SAMS.. They have that polished Aluminum look which goes well with the elfa wire shelving in the front of the garage...

Looks great. As a Shelby fan I'd be VERY proud to donate 250 to a good cause in his name. The voluntary signature would just be icing on the cake. (Who knows. That donation may save my life, or my kids', one day.)
