I have been lurking here for a while. I have been reading all of the posts about different flooring options. I was about top pull the trigger on epoxy-coat but the prep, and hassle of storing the tools and toys in the garage was too much. I have decided to go race Deck free flow in Alloy / graphite for my 3.5 car garage.
I have raised my doors and just finished the total repaint. Now it's floor time and then the BendPak 4 post lift with roller jacks!
Is there any deals out there on Race Deck? Best price I have found so far has been from Big Floors. Still a lot of money at about $2600.00.
I like the fact that I can install in sections, move the stuff and then park on the floor when done! Plus the no work on the existing floor is a major benefit. I hope to order and install over Memorial day weekend.
I need to get this ordered so vendors who wants a nice order?

RaceDeck looks amazing. Is this something that would work out in a woodshop? Tablesaw, bandsaw, jointer, planer, lathe, etc.

I just placed my Race deck flooring order! I would post the design but can't seem to upload the PDF file. I need to wait until the IT department gets home.
I can't wait until next weekend. Mid June the lift goes in!

I have it in my wood shop. Quite happy with it after a year.

Really? I never really considered this sort of thing. Until now. What is a rough cost per square foot for a product like this? And is installation fairly straight forward?

I did free flow for the first 3' by the doors where the water pools in my garage, I have a small pump in the corner by the wall in a recess I ground into the slab to remove the standing water. it goes on when the water reaches 1/4 inch so I will not be walking through puddles anymore. The blue around the checked flag is also free flow. The rest will be diamond tile race deck. This should give me a good solid work surface, good drainage and some pop in the garage when the cars are out. I also went with the blue highlight to accent the BendPak 4 post lift I am getting next. All of the field will be alloy / graphite including the 3' of free flow. It should be stunning against the bright white wall and ceiling I just painted last weekend!

I received my floor today. I think I just found out why so many designs are 4 square ft per color. They ship the tiles snapped 4 together! I have to un snap a Bajillion tiles to get my checker board pattern. Not hard but a major time consuming detail.:willy_nil
